IVF CYCLE CANCELED

I did not have the proper response to the med combo we used this time so we had to cancel this cycle.  I only made 3 measly eggs which is not worth having a surgery over because the probability of 3 eggs being enough is less than 10%.  But it is all good because this helped us to gather more info about our infertility problems and now we have a better idea of what will work for me.  For now this cycle has transitioned into a planned intercourse procedure (TMI sorry).  I continue to give myself the shots but at a lower dose of Follistim 200 units, no more Lupron and Micro dose hcg.  Then Sunday I take the trigger shot (HCG) to make myself ovulate which should happen within 48 hrs of the shot.  Then we do our thing on Monday and Tuesday. And then 2 days later on the 20th I start the prometrium suppositories twice a day.  If we conceive, that would be awesome!!!!  If we do not we are supposed to call on day 1 of my cycle, then we will have a consultation to regroup and make a new IVF plan.  I may end up doing a Clomid Challenge at that time just so we can see the more exact measure of my ovarian reserve.  My belly is super happy to hear about the shots stopping tomorrow, it told me last night when I made it bleed and burn like heck with the Follistim.  I think I am running out of places to stab myself.  However, I must say I am pretty happy with the little fat roll I have, it made the shots much easier :)  One reason to have less than flat abs :)  Ok, so now we are just gonna keep cruising down the path of finding our baby and let it lead us where it may, I think we are getting warmer :)
